Dalton Soster

Dalton Soster is the chief operating officer, executive vice president of claims for Ag Workers Mutual Auto Insurance, and VP of Worth Insurance.

Soster grew up in the east coast town of Sparta, New Jersey. She graduated from Sparta High School in 1978 before attending Berkley School for Women in Westchester, NY, to pursue a career in fashion merchandising. Dalton subsequently left school to begin her professional journey in insurance.

Her first industry experience came in 1975, working as an assistant to her father, who was an insurance executive. Dalton moved to California to further her insurance education with Nationwide Insurance Company. There, she would gain expertise in multiple industry disciplines at their training center in Columbus, Ohio, earning her Property, Casualty, Workers Compensation, and Inland Marine certifications.

Soster holds designations as a Certified Litigation Management and Claims Professional. She is also a licensed mediator in the state of Texas. Dalton has volunteered her time and expertise as a teacher through the CLM Alliance School of Casualty Claims, which is designed to train young claims professionals.

Soster worked in senior claims management positions for roughly three decades before joining Ag Workers in 2015. She initially took on the role of vice president of claims before officially being elevated to COO and executive vice president in November of 2020.

When not at work, Soster pursues passions such as cooking and traveling. She and her spouse of 37 years, Jerry, have visited places such as Spain, Portugal, Italy, and many Caribbean islands. Together, they share two children and four grandchildren.
