Julie Leveque serves as the Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Claims Resolution at Ag Workers Insurance, joining the officer team in 2025.
Originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Julie moved to Texas in 1986 and has proudly called it home ever since. Her career in insurance began in 1987 as a Claims Dispatcher in Dallas, Texas. Inspired by her parents’ fascinating stories from their own careers in insurance, Julie’s curiosity and passion for claims work quickly grew. She earned her multi-line adjuster’s license in 1988 and has since built a remarkable career.
Over the years, Julie has gained extensive experience working with various carriers in a wide range of roles. Her expertise includes personal and commercial lines of business, handling auto and trucking claims, general liability, and municipality claims. She has worked both in the field and behind the desk, eventually advancing into management roles.
Julie’s commitment to professional development is evident in her many certifications and licenses. She holds an Associate in Insurance Designation (AINS), an Associate in Insurance Services Designation (AIS), and a Certified Master Intercompany Arbitrator Designation (CMIA).
Julie joined the Ag Workers team in 2020 as a Major Claims Resolution Specialist, transitioning to a Senior Liability Resolution Specialist and then promoted to Director of Claims before earning her current role as AVP.
Outside of work, Julie enjoys spending time with her family. She is married to Michael (Mike) Leveque, and together they have two sons, Adrian and Aaron. Their family also includes three granddaughters (Hailey Anne, Lily Anne, and Charleigh Rae), one grandson (Kayson Wyatt), and their beloved Brussels Griffon, Opie. In her free time, Julie loves trying new recipes, and preparing authentic Cajun dishes for holiday gatherings. She also enjoys watching true crime documentaries, exploring open-air markets, and relaxing poolside in the Texas sunshine.
