Community Involvement

Giving Back to the Agricultural Industry & Beyond

At Ag Workers, we are more than a company; we’re a proud member of the agricultural industry. Dedicated to giving back to the community that sustains us, we engage in various initiatives to support ag organizations and our local community.

Supporting Agricultural Organizations Across Texas

We proudly support agricultural organizations throughout the state by sponsoring meals and events and participating in various conventions with a tradeshow booth. These efforts allow us to connect directly with the people and organizations that benefit our valued members.

These are just a few of the events we’ve been honored to attend in recent years:

Looking ahead, we remain committed to supporting these organizations and are excited to connect with ranchers, agricultural educators, and students at future industry events. We are also exploring opportunities with associations, foundations, and businesses whose focus is on the continued viability and sustainability of Texas agriculture, including partnerships with the Texas Wildlife Association, East Foundation, and Kenedy Ranch.

If you have an event you’d like us to attend or have an ag-related sponsorship opportunity for us to consider, reach out to us—we’d love to hear from you.

Focusing on the Next
Generation of Ag Professionals

We firmly believe in supporting the next generation of agricultural leaders. Through initiatives like purchasing livestock at the State Fair of Texas Big Tex Youth Livestock Auction and sponsoring events such as the Calf Scramble at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo, we aim to empower students to achieve their goals.

To further support agricultural education, we’ve established endowments at institutions such as Texas A&M University and Texas Tech University, providing scholarships to students pursuing agricultural studies. Additionally, our marketing internship program, which ran from 1988 to 2022, offered students valuable insights into the agricultural industry and insurance. Today, we continue to engage with college students by visiting Ag Ed Blocks and connecting with student teachers and industry interns across the state.

Engaging With Our Local Community

Our commitment to service extends beyond agriculture. Each year, in partnership with our subsidiary, Insureberry, we collaborate with local organizations to support families and individuals in need, especially during the holiday season. In 2019, 2023, and 2024, we partnered with Coleson’s F.R.O.G. to sponsor families affected by pediatric cancer, providing gifts and donations to bring joy during a difficult time. From 2020 to 2022, we worked with the Christmas Wish Project of Tarrant County, delivering holiday gifts to 130 foster children over three years.

We also encourage our employees to give back through office donation drives that support various causes year-round. Together, we’ve supported organizations such as the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Tarrant County, Presbyterian Night Shelter, Community Food Bank of Fort Worth, and the Haltom City Police and Fire Departments, among others.

At Ag Workers, we’re dedicated to being a trusted partner to both our customers and the communities we serve. Whether supporting agriculture or giving back locally, we’re here to make a meaningful difference.
