
Jessica Reeves was appointed to the Ag Workers Mutual Auto Insurance Company Board of Directors at the Annual Policyholders Meeting in March 2025, bringing over 24 years of experience in agricultural education.
Reeves currently serves as an Adjunct Professor for the College of Agriculture at Palo Alto College, where she develops lesson plans and assessments for agricultural courses. Since 2019, Reeves has also played a key role at Ingram ISD, serving as career and technology director, an agriculture, food, and natural resources teacher, and dean of the Agricultural Science Early College. Her prior experience includes 16 years as an agricultural teacher with Tomball ISD and two years with Katy ISD.
Beyond her teaching roles, Reeves has demonstrated a strong commitment to advancing agricultural education through her service on the ATAT Board of Directors and the State Wildlife WAY Committees Board. Her contributions to the field have been widely recognized, earning her the titles of 2024 Ag Teacher Association Experienced Teacher of the Year and Soil and Water Conservation Teacher of the Year.
Reeves is a graduate of Texas A&M University-Kingsville, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Agriculture in 2001, along with teaching certifications in Agricultural Sciences (6-12), Speech (6-12), and Pedagogy and Professional Responsibilities (EC-12). She later completed her Master of Science in 2012, specializing in Adult Education and Communications.
Reeves currently resides in Kerrville, Texas, with her husband of 21 years, Jason, and their four children. When she isn’t volunteering with local programs or serving as a TYHP huntsman, she enjoys hunting, fishing, and working in the barn with her family.
