Have you ever visited the Ag Workers Insurance office? If you have the person responsible for the upkeep of the building is the one and only Adriana Clark-Hill. But her job description doesn’t stop there. She is one of Ag Workers’ longest-tenured employees and was voted 2018’s employee of the year. After, reading this article you will know why.
Here is a simple compilation of her role at the company, as well as some personal insights.
Role in the Company
Adriana has worked at Ag Workers Insurance for 20 years now. Her official title is Executive Assistant and Building Manager. She is Marcus Hill’s, the President and CEO of Ag Workers, assistant. Her job entails several different tasks that include keeping Marcus’s schedule and coordinating board of directors meetings. She is also in charge of the building which includes the electric, lawn, and plumbing. Basically, anything that deals with the building, except the phones and computers is her responsibility. Last, but certainly, not least she plans the company parties. These parties include the company Christmas party and employee wedding and baby shower celebrations.
Her favorite part about Ag Workers is the fact that her job requires a lot of different tasks. This gives her more freedom and means she is not doing the same job all the time. She loves the Ag Workers family and couldn’t imagine working anywhere else. Over 20 years she has made a lot of friends and memories that she will cherish forever.
Family
Adriana, Marcus, Travis, Maryn, & Jack
Adriana is the mother of two beautiful daughters, Hope and Samantha. She is also, a stepmom or what she likes to call a “bonus mom”, to Brandon and Blake Hill. Travis, Maryn, and Jack are her three amazing grandchildren. She loves to brag on their many talents as any proud Nana would. Her husband is the one and only Marcus Hill. They tied the knot in 2010 and have settled in Roanoke, Texas.
When asked about her pets, Adriana replied that “it is a three-ring circus at our house”. That is because in addition to her children she has three dogs. She adopted Mickey and Finley from the animal shelter and got Luke from an ill family member. They drive her crazy, but she couldn’t imagine life without her three-bed hogs.
Fun Facts
Adriana loves any movie with Julia Roberts or Sandra Bullock in it. They are two of her favorite actresses. Her favorite food is steak and she loves anything with chocolate on it. When she is not at work, she loves spending time with her family, going to the farm, and traveling around the world. Her favorite place she has ever visited is Venice, Italy. Adriana said it was like walking into a movie set. It was nothing like she has ever experienced before and would love to go back if given the opportunity.
